WOW!!!

I have had a whurl wind of a weekend! I went down to my cousin's house in Anderson for the weekend. It was pretty fun! If you don't remember, she had a baby girl. Amelia Elizabeth, in january so it was fun to see her. She also has another daughter, Kat, that will be four in April. I left Saturday morning and came home about 7 Sunday night. We didn't do a whole lot but it was different than being at home all weekend.

I was initially going to go down to Purdue for the weekend to visit my friend but she ended up having too much to do before her spring break. My family was going to be busy for most of the day Saturday so I decided I wanted to find something to do.

Everything went well Saturday, but Sunday, I got a terrible headache. I had taken several ibuprofen and put some "head-on" on.(it sounds stupid i know, but that stuff really works! or it's supposed to anyway!) I was driving home and it hadn't gotten any better so i stopped and got some caffeine, hoping that that would help. Well it didn't. I finally made it home, headache and all.

Monday morning, however, was a completely different story. I will spare you all the disgusting details. We have decided that I either had the flu or food poisoning! It was terrible. It started about 3 a.m. and I still wasn't feeling better by the time I went to be at 10 p.m. It was weird because I didn't have a temperature all morning. In fact, it wasn't even clost to normal. My "normal" body temp. is about 97.6 and it was showing up 97.0. It eventually did go up though. It hit 100.1 about 2 p.m. and consistantly stayed there until about 9 p.m. It was not a fun day. I had to lay in bed all day and ran out of comfortable positions to lay in at about 9 a.m. I don't have a television in my room so my mom brought theirs in, but she didn't want me to spread my germs so she put the remote in a zip-lock baggie!

Tuesday morning was much less eventful! I felt fine enough to go to school and my temperature had reutrned to it's normal spot. Since I had obviously missed Monday, I had some stuff to catch up on. I started to do these things and, wouldn't you know it, I got a migrain! I thought, "come on...I'm trying to get ahead and I can't!" When I get migrains, I get the loss of vision about half an hour before, so I couldn't see anything I was trying to do! I had to have my mom read some of the questions to me! It would come and go and sometimes I would be reading a matching question and it would go. I would go to cross off the letter and completely miss. I looked at it this morning and it was pretty funny because there were lines that were just floating!

Well, that's my last few days worth of excitment! I am finally feeling better, so that's the good news! The bad news is that today is a snow day which means we have to go half a day on a Monday in June! If it weren't for finals, I would not be going!
